In preparation for making Nightscape: Cynopolis available for pre-order via Amazon and other retailers, I've made an excerpt available in the Media section of this site. This excerpt should give you a sense of how I've gone about mixing gritty urban realism and supernatural dread. The featured character in this opening scene, a homeless bookseller by the name of Khonsu, has become my favorite Nightscape character. I plan to do a character interview with him as part of a virtual book tour that kicks off October 19th. I'll be sure to provide a link when it's available.
